Our Practice
Dr. Amy K. Chow
Dr. Amy K. Chow graduated from Southern California College of Optometry in 1995. She acquired the practice from Dr. Ronald S. Joelson and formed Cupertino Family Eye Care Optometry in September 1999. She obtained her undergraduate degree from UC Davis in Economics and is a native Californian, growing up in Oakland, CA. Dr. Chow is an active member of the Santa Clara Optometric Society and the California Optometric Association. When not in the office, Dr. Chow spends time with her three wonderful children and her husband. Her passions include arts & crafts, good food, and relaxing with family and friends.

Dr. Serene Ngin
Dr. Serene Ngin graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2001. She completed her undergraduate degree in sociology at U.C. Berkeley and joined Cupertino Family Eye Care in 2002. Dr. Ngin volunteers at her community church and has traveled to Mexico and Cambodia for missionary work.

Dr. Gigi Hsiao, O.D.
Dr. Gigi Hsiao obtained her undergraduate degree in Physiology from UC Berkeley and graduated from Southern California College of Optometry in 1993. She has been practicing at Cupertino Family Eye Care Optometry since 1996. Outside of the office, Dr. Hsiao enjoys hiking, kickboxing, yoga, photography, tennis, travel, volunteering at her daughter's school, and especially spending time with family. Dr. Hsiao also dedicates her extra time to the causes of leukemia/lymphoma and World Vision.

Dr. Stephanie S. Chan, O.D.
Dr. Stephanie S. Chan received her Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley School of Optometry. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University. She grew up in Cupertino, CA and has returned to this area to live with her husband. Dr. Chan is an active member of the Santa Clara County Optometric Association. She has a special interest in neuro-ophthalmology and a passion for eyecare in low income communities and in developing nations. Outside of optometry, she enjoys social dancing, martial arts, Broadway musicals and traveling.

Dr. Ellin Wu, O.D.
Dr. Ellin Wu graduated from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and
was a fellow classmate of Dr. Chan. She also went to UC Berkeley for
her undergraduate studies in molecular and cell biology. After her
time at UC Berkeley, she completed a residency in specialty contact
lenses at UCLA. Her passion is fitting specialty lenses on keratoconus
and hard-to-fit corneas with irregular astigmatism. She enjoys going
on VOSH trips to other places, as well as travelling, trying new
restaurants, and enjoys singing.

Tina Chan
Tina joined Cupertino Family Eye Care Optometry in 2000, bringing with her 14 years of experience in eyewear fashion. She enjoys educating patients about frames, contacts, and overall optical needs.

Ms. Annie N. Vo, Manager
Annie Vo joined Cupertino Family Eye Care Optometry in 2006. She is currently the marketing manager and loves working with patients. She enjoys helping patients choose stylish eyewear that fits their lifestyle. She is also in charge of updating current styles on the frame board.
